We’ve slowly made the change over to keypad door handles and as of yesterday we are 100% keyless!
The journey started with seven keypads. They integrate with our reservation software and provide simple check-ins. Guests have let us know they really appreciate and like having the keypad doors. No worrying about losing your room key or accidentally getting locked out. And now, all seventeen rooms are upgraded and ready to welcome you with a code.

Don’t worry, we’re still here to check you in and answer any questions you may have for your stay. We want every aspect of your visit to feel smooth and relaxing. The keypads remove one extra hassle and makes your stay even more enjoyable. No extra trips to the lobby, convenient handle shape for easy entry and an option for contactless check in if desired. We like meeting all of our guests, but understand sometimes you’re tired and just need to crash!
Perfect for Last-Minute Bookings
Need a last-minute stay after hours? We’ve made it work in the past, but this gives a much more streamlined way to get late check ins or bookings into their rooms and enjoying some down time. We can assign key codes remotely, enabling you to book and enter your room within minutes. This convenience is ideal for spontaneous trips, late night check-ins or emergency stays.
User-Friendly & Secure
Hagerman is blessed to be a safe area, but safety is important for our guests. Our commercial grade keyless systems are designed with security in mind. Your access codes are only shared with you and expire after your stay. Each room also has a standalone deadbolt to use when in the room.
Two Years In The Making
It took some time to get all the way to seventeen rooms, but we are excited to have all of the doors complete! As mentioned, we started off with seven after joining with a new reservation software. That was a big chunk, but gave us starter flexibility to check in late night guests. What we found was that guests started to request staying in the keypad rooms. What was convenient for us, was great for you too!
We then added five more, with mixed results. They were a larger unit and were very faulty. After switching out four of them with new versions we were back in business. Most of our downstairs rooms and suites were covered with key less entry.
Summer 2025
This summer we decided to make the final jump and order the last of the keypads. One by one they’ve been going in, until finally we came to our last. As it was being installed, it fell and ripped the wiring out. So close! We just finished rewiring and it was successful installed on the last room (237) on Tuesday.
Going keyless started for convenience, but continued because of the love. We hope you come and visit soon!
