Our New Look is Here!

2025 is just days away and Jim & I will celebrate the third anniversary of one of the best decisions we ever made. That first year was a rush of excitement and a million decisions to be made. I knew we needed to start branding from day one and hired an artist right away. It was a good logo, not stunning, but I liked the color scheme and it worked for the time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite right.

After months of design revisions, and a lot of excitement behind the scenes, we are thrilled to unveil our brand new look! Our hotel has undergone a full remodel so it’s time to soar in with a fresh, vibrant identity. The all business, no fun swish is gone. In its place, you’ll now find our bold and beautiful Snow Goose – a symbol that represents not just the hotel, but the heart and soul of the birds that spend all winter with us and the amazing community we are part of here in Hagerman.

Why a Snow Goose?

If you’ve ever visited us in the winter, you’ll know that the skies south of the hotel come alive with the spectacular sight of hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of snow geese. These stunning birds, with their stark white feathers and powerful wings, have become a part of the hotel. We watch them rise in waves and hear their thunderous wing beats as they travel back and forth. It is not uncommon to find a guest or two outside mesmerized by their movements and sheer numbers.

When we started talking about rebranding, we talked about ducks, eagles, frogs (to commemorate Frog’s landing), but they were all lukewarm ideas. Suddenly it hit Jim. It was genius, of course, the Snow Goose fit so perfectly. Their winter presence is a sign of the changing seasons and we’ve grown quite fond of them. It felt fitting to draw inspiration from these magnificent birds. The Snow Goose embodies freedom, adventure, and community – qualities that reflect not only our hotel, but the experience we want to offer every guest who walks through our doors. We’re not just a place to stay; we’re a place to spread your wings and explore the area around us.

Drum Roll, please…

A Dash of Playfulness with Light Blue Touches

Along with the Snow Goose, we’ve also added touches of light blue throughout our new branding. This soft yet vibrant color evokes the tranquil skies and serene landscapes that surround us. A perfect contrast to the energy and joy we aim to infuse into our rooms. It’s bright, fresh, and welcoming, just like our team and the experiences we offer.

But it’s not just about elegance and serenity. We’ve decided to inject a bit of fun into our new look as well. The Snow Goose isn’t just about grace – it’s also about playfulness and charm. Our new brand reflects our cheerful and sometimes cheeky side. You’ll find new sayings and Goose references throughout the property! We rolled the “Talk to Me Goose” notepads out early and guests are already loving them.

Merch You’ll Want to Take Home

We’re also thrilled to announce that we’ll be rolling out more awesome merch. From cozy sweatshirts to stylish bags, mugs, and hats, you’ll be able to take a piece of us home with you. We’re sure you’ll find something that perfectly captures the spirit of your stay.

Our merchandise will be available for purchase both at the hotel and online. It’s the perfect way to remember your stay or to treat someone special to a little piece of our charm.

What’s Next?

This is just the beginning! Our logo and branding are part of a broader evolution of the hotel. We’re committed to enhancing the guest experience with new amenities, exciting events, and more ways to connect with the natural beauty around us. We can’t wait for you to experience the improvements we’ve already made and the epic ones to come!

So, whether you’re booking a weekend getaway or just passing through, we hope our new look will inspire you to make some new memories with us. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget to check out our new merchandise  – we promise you’ll love it!

We’re gliding into the future with a fresh look, and we can’t wait for you to join us on the ride. See you soon for a flocking good time!
